Valerie G. Tobin has been a civil trial attorney since 1984. She has represented plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving Auto & Trucking Accidents, Premises Liability, Professional Negligence, Business/Contract Disputes, Landlord/Tenant Disputes, and Divorce & Family Law. Valerie has been a civil and domestic mediator since 1992 and has served as a mediator in over 800 civil cases. She is a registered neutral with the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution and is a recognized member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and the Georgia Academy of Mediators and Arbitrators. As Executive Director of the Fulton County State and Magistrate Court ADR Externship Program from 1995 to 2002, Valerie trained and supervised law students from Emory University and Georgia State University in the mediation of 2,500 cases per year. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Mediators Association since 2005 and has served as its President and Treasurer.
