History of BAY
BAY Mediation & Arbitration Services, LLC was founded in 2002 by attorneys Bruce Barrickman, William Allred and Scott Young in Atlanta, Georgia. They have over 75 years of combined experience in the area of civil litigation. All three are AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated¹ by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, the highest rating available for an attorney by his or her peers. They are also recognized members of the Georgia Academy of Mediators and Arbitrators and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. BAY's panel has grown to include 19 qualified litigators serving as neutrals in both simple and complex disputes involving every conceivable area of the law.

Choosing a mediator or arbitrator can be a difficult process. At BAY Mediation & Arbitration Services, you will find that our panel of neutrals includes arbitrators and mediators of varying backgrounds, and arbitration and mediation styles.
Our panel consists of full time mediators and arbitrators, as well as those who continue to maintain an active legal practice in their particular areas of expertise. Either way, almost all of our neutrals have at least 20 years or more of legal experience and backgrounds ranging from national firm partners to sole practitioners; retired judges to in-house counsel; authors, professors, and lecturers to Super Lawyers.

Almost all of our neutrals are or have been practicing trial lawyers for at least 20 years, which allow us to offer a special perspective to clients who use our mediation and arbitration services. Our experience as advocates, as well as neutrals, helps us provide accurate and practical case evaluations in a number of civil litigation areas, including Business & Commercial, Construction, Divorce & Family, Employment & Labor, Injury & Accident Cases, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Real Estate & Condemnation, Professional Malpractice, Wills, Trusts & Probate, and Workers' Compensation.

An Inviting Setting With the Latest Communication Technologies
The offices of BAY Mediation & Arbitration Services are conveniently located near I-285 and GA-400 in a wooded complex with plentiful free parking. BAY has 15 fully equipped conference rooms, including several over-sized rooms able to accommodate large multi-party cases. Flat screen TVs for presentation, Internet access (including wireless), computer hook-ups, speaker phones, and DVD/VHS capability are provided. Projectors and screens and teleconferencing via webcam are also available upon request.
BAY has a self-serve galley style kitchen with coffees, teas, soft drinks, water bottles and snacks available to guests anytime throughout the day. Made-to-order meals are provided each day, as well as freshly baked cookies in the afternoons. You will also always have assistance and attention from our professional and friendly staff. Our goal is to make you and your clients as comfortable as possible no matter how long or short your visit might be.
Mediations, arbitrations, case evaluations and private settlement conferences can also be scheduled at our offices or at any other locations in Georgia or the Southeast agreed upon by the parties.
