BAY Neutral Hon. Patricia Killingsworth to Speak at State Bar’s Mediation Advocacy Seminar

BAY Mediation & Arbitration Services announced today that neutral Hon. Patricia Killingsworth is scheduled to speak at the State Bar Association’s Mediation Advocacy seminar on March 24. During the event, Hon. Killingsworth will share with her peers her insights on mediating an employer/employee divorce in the Workers’ Compensation arena.

Seminar attendees will also learn about the following topics:

  • The Business Tort: Leavers, Stayers and Criminal Conduct
  • Advocacy in Family Law Mediation
  • Maximizing or Minimizing the Value of Your Case: The Plaintiff’s and Defendant’s Perspectives on Effective Advocacy in Mediation
  • Corporations in Dispute
  • Ethics for Trial Practitioners in Mediation, with Some Comments on Mediation Techniques

The seminar is part of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education’s state bar series. It is being co-sponsored by the Dispute Resolution Section, the General Practice and Trial Law Section, and the State Bar of Georgia. This program will also be available via a live web stream for those who choose to register for the online option. Once you have registered for the program, you will receive a link in your confirmation email with instructions on how to access the program. If you choose to view the program via the web stream, you will receive Self-Study CLE Credit for the course. This will apply towards your 6 CLE Hour per year self-study limit.
